Stunning private house on the Weston Park Estate
What a delightful invitation we received to experience Weston Park which is a fabulous private house on a 1000 acre estate in Shropshire with 27 bedrooms (more bedrooms available on the site). The house and gardens are stunning and we were welcomed by a lovely man who could not do enough for you – it was in fact the General Manager Martin Page.
We checked into our rooms, wow beautiful bedroom and bathroom with a lovely gift with products from the estate. We then had a delightful afternoon tea in the Orangery. As we had consumed so many calories, we took part in some activities courtesy of KDM Events which were fun and the sunshine helped!
Pre-dinner drinks were taken in the Library and a fantastic dinner was held in the main Dining Room surrounded by so many fabulous portraits – a very special evening. The evening carried on in the wine cellar which was brilliant – pool table available and some beautiful wines. The cellar can also be used for private events.
The next morning after a lovely breakfast, we experienced the Dirt Bikes and went across the fields and into the woods – not all of us were steady through the woods though!! We finished off with a drink in the Granary Restaurant which also has a lovely meeting
room called The Snug. All in all it was an amazing experience and would be perfect for exclusive hire.
